While working with clients on their business and brand, there are two viewpoints that are essential to discuss.
One view is from the perspective of the self: what I know, what I do, what I'm good at, what I love, what I prefer.
The other view is from your prospective client: what she wants, what she's waiting for, the problem that she has, the challenge she's dealing with, the time she's wasting. The struggle is real for her.
Your business will fall flat if you are only ever looking through the lens of "me". Consider shifting your view to them. Go out and discover what are the challenges your potential clients have? Can you solve them? How would they like this problem solved, in what format? What would they be willing to pay for this?
For every problem, there is a solution.
From deep empathy, go out and be a problem solver.
