There are days when overwhelm seems to pool at the base of my heart. My energetic heart at the center of my chest is where I feel, profoundly.
It’s an ache. A tug. A swirling pool of energy, trapped.
The nature of this troubling state has both exciting and a challenging elements to it. The bottom line is that I have a deep ache to get out there and make a difference in the world. Like on a grand scale I want to paint a dull wall vibrant beautiful colours and fling the curtains of possibility open.
I’ve long been an entrepreneur. Even the days that I worked for someone else, I had that innovative spirit. Those who have employed me, I apologize. The free spirit can be a pain in the ass to employ. I have always known I wanted to work for myself. It’s a deep knowing and even a sense of feeling like I couldn’t be anything else.
This choice to work on my own, to create things my way, to develop skills I’m in love with has been a rich experience full of wonder and surprise. The dark side is that there are times when I feel alone and I have questions.
What do I focus on? What are my strengths? Do I need more education?

Over the decades of working for myself I’ve created projects and businesses all under the umbrella of passion. Few of them were created with the intention of profit. I’ve managed to live well, but not in full abundance and wealth. My eyes have been set on how to contribute and how to live life passionately and autonomously.
And now, perhaps maturity has washed away some naive ways and I’m ready to go big. To live big! Most importantly to contribute with a greater impact on the world.
As I lay all the cards on the table I can scan over all the opportunities I’ve had, the learning I’ve embodied, the natural gifts that I have and the areas of focus I’ve dedicated my life to. From the bird’s eye view, the table seems quite populated with diverse skills.
Over 20 years of Graphic Design and branding experience is there, 5 years of owning a yoga studio, a burgeoning coaching practice, mother of two and wife. It may have taken me a while, but I've got a house for all the skills to live together in. This is it, Live Big Co.
